林肯Zephyr早在2004年的纽约车展上就和世人见面了，这款中级尺寸的五座轿车是林肯为新一代消费者度身定做的入门级豪华轿车。在2005年正式量产并投放市场，预计2005年秋季上市，最低售价2.9995万美元，约合人民币24.7万元。它将有效增强目前林肯家族阵容，同时也将会遇到诸如广告ES330，阿库拉TL，无限G35，凯迪拉克GTS等强大竞争对手的挑战

外形设计
林肯Zephyr在林肯传统设计风格的基础上很好的借鉴了欧洲豪华车的一些优秀的设计理念。整体看来，林肯Zephyr更倾向于运动型轿车，例如倾斜角度很大的挡风玻璃，大量水平线条的运用和大直径的19英寸合金车轮。由于林肯Zephyr的车身比较低，19英寸12辐的车轮就能更加突出整车的运动性。色调方面，林肯Zephyr采用了豪华车上不多见的明亮格调，无论是外观还是内饰，给人一种很清新舒适的感觉。
