http://news.greedland.net/image/2008/200804/20080411/20080411104040_30600.jpg 新创刊！电击杂志又添新儿！《電撃文庫マガジン》于2008年4月10日创刊发售，新创刊！超豪华三大附录为“奇诺之旅 -the Sigsawa's World-”、“灼眼的夏娜特大海报(594mm x 841mm)”、“とらドラ垫板”，Games本店店头配布了该本杂志创刊发售的大型宣传海报。此本电击文库杂志根据2007年10月发售的另一本电击家族中的杂志 —— 《電撃文庫マガジンプロローグ》上的介绍为“该本杂志为新的娱乐杂志”。虎之穴一号店POP写着“来吧，新的时代开幕了！迎接电击名牌15周年，4月开始Mediaworks的电击将产生新的改变，迎来第二次序（プロローグ）的创刊！！”
如此重大的发售不可能没有活动，因此介绍之后回到新闻标题主要内容，Games本店举行的相应活动为新创刊纪念大抽选会，同时《狼与香辛料》作者支倉凍砂氏、《乃木坂春香の秘密》作者五十嵐雄策氏到场举行小型签售会，12，13日两天在虎之穴秋叶原本店举办“電撃文庫マガジンCafe”，13日《奇诺之旅》、《艾莉森与莉莉亚》作者時雨沢恵一举行小型签售会。
