由戴眼鏡的合聲Erlend Oye和主唱Eirik Glambek Boe所組成的【Kings Of Convenience】，一出道即受各界矚目，被喻為2001年【The new new wave】新新浪漫風潮中最佳代表樂團，並常被媒體樂評們將他們與【Belle & Sebastian】、【Badly Drawn Boy】、【Elliot Smith】、【Nick Drake】等樂團相提並論。NEM音樂週報也曾推崇他們為【Hero Of New Acoustic Movement】，甚至將【Kings Of Convenience】與近期的一些新團體【Lowgold】、【Elbow】、【Alfie】、【Turin Brakes】等，評選為本是記下一波【Coldplay Wave】中的接班團體。
