James Blunt

 

　　从公元995年开始，James Blunt的家族中就开始有人加入参军，而James Blunt本人就是在结束了四年的军旅生活之后才进入到音乐界当中的。儿时的James Blunt生活在一个完全没有音乐氛围的家庭，父亲甚至认为包括古典音乐在内的所有音乐都是“没有用处的噪音”。但就是凭着对音乐的热爱，James Blunt自学了吉他和作曲。尽管专业学习的是航空制造业，但一直痴迷音乐的James Blunt在服役四年过后并没有选择跟专业有关的事业，而是只身一人去了美国洛杉矶。在知名制作人Linda Perry和Tom Rothrock的协助之下，James Blunt首张个人专辑《Back to Bedlam》在洛杉矶录制完成。

　　令人可喜的是，《Back to Bedlam》在发行之后逐渐得到了歌迷的认可，不仅成为家乡英国去年的销量冠军专辑，在福地美国也开始得到越来越多歌迷的喜爱。专辑中诞生出《You're Beautiful》和《Goodbye My Lover》等点播率极高的畅销单曲，James Blunt也依靠去年的出色表现在刚刚落幕的全英音乐奖当中获得“最佳英国男歌手”等两项大奖。
