　　全名Laura Beatrice Marling，2008年Indie Folk界中一颗冉冉上升的新星，首张大碟《Alas I Cannot Swim》去年在英国获得了很不错的评价，年底还入围了水星奖的提名。她制作、发布这张专辑的时候还未满18岁，而Laura的父亲在她三岁的时候就开始教她弹吉他，一发不可收拾，从那时起就展示出了惊人的音乐才华，可以毫不夸张的说，Laura浑身都缮发着音乐的灵性。优美的旋律，婉转的声线，显得格外的浪漫。一把深情的木吉他，始终贯穿着整张专辑，美妙的和声，羞涩的钢琴，袅绕的提琴，甚至是莺莺的鸟叫，都展现出Laura惊人的创作实力。
