　　简介：Rita Coolidge於1945年5月1號出生於美國田納西洲的Lafayette,早期她是位幕後配唱歌手,   

　　曾為Joe Cocker,Eric Clapton和Leon Russell等歌手充當合音歌手.

　　1968年她被Elvis Presley的前私人助手Marty Lacker發掘並灌錄了首張單曲,  

　　Marty Lacker在離開Elvis後成立了Pepper Records並幫Rita Coolidge監制了一系列專輯,

　　其中單曲"Turn Around And Love You"成為美國西岸非常流行的歌曲.  

　　之後Rita開始和Leon Russell合作,兩人參加了Cocker's Mad Dogs和Englishman的巡演.

　　她演唱的"Superstar"使她再度贏得了大家的關注.

　　------兩座格萊美獎,三張白金唱片,四張金唱片,Rita Coolidge在Vocal Jazz方面取得了相當的地位。
